Cooper is developing such a personality and a sense of humor... and a temper, but that is not as fun to discuss. :-) He likes to roll around and play, we really have to watch him. He has started rolling over whenever we are trying to change his clothes or his diaper. It takes Daddy and I to pin him down or else he will roll away. We got this cute picture after his bath the other night. Daddy calls it his George Costanza pose. If you watched Seinfeld, then maybe you will get the reference. If not, it is still a precious picture!

Daddy and I started a new routine this week. He is on duty in the mornings and I am on in the evenings. I still get up with Cooper early and nurse him, but Daddy feeds him breakfast, gets him dressed, and takes him to MaMaws house. Why? So Mom can get her day started and even go to the gym. We have been doing this for about 4 days now and so far, so good. I made it to the gym twice last week not to mention the stress that it relieves for me to get everything done before I have to start my work day. And of course, Daddy has his nights to go to the gym which works out for all of us.

This weekend we went to Austin. We planned this trip for a couple of reason's. First of all, Heather has invited us several times to come down for the Austin Junior League's Christmas Affair. This was a truly great event! We shopped all day Saturday and Sunday. I bought a few things for myself, but mostly got Christmas stuff out of the way. On Sunday morning, they hosted Breakfast with Santa where we could go and get pictures taken with Santa. We opted not to wait in line for an "official" picture with Santa, instead we grabbed Santa as he was walking around and think that we got better pictures that way then if we had waited in line for an hour.

This weekend was also Mommy and Daddy's 8th Wedding Anniversary. Grandmother watched Cooper overnight while we went to dinner and spent the night at a hotel. For dinner we went to a sushi place call UCHI. It was absolutely delicious and we had a lovely evening. We stayed at the Hilton downtown which was very nice even if we were just there for some shut-eye. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep in too much if we wanted to see Santa, but some uninterrupted sleep is better than no uninterrupted sleep... or is it?

After more shopping on Sunday (which Cooper slept through), we ate lunch at Shady Grove then headed back to Dallas. We had such a wonderful time with Britt, Heather, Ford, and Grandmother.
