Well, I haven't posted any comments to Cooper's blog for a long time so there is a lot to catch up on so here we go!

Cooper is 5 months old!
Cooper is doing so many new and exciting things as he gets older. Not only is he so much more engaging with his sweet personality, but he is really starting to interact with the world around him. He wants to stand up all the time so put him in his exersaucer quite a bit and have also started standing him (with assistance) at his Leap Frog Learning Table.

He has also started rolling back to front, but won't stay there for long. He is getting so long that he is starting to spill over his infant seat. It wont be long until we moves to the big boy seat. At last doctor's visit he was 15 lbs which is 50th percentile. You might guess from the pictures, though that his little noggin was in the 90th percentile!!

Something else that is kind of fun is that he has taken notice of Bleu and Roscoe. He hears their toe nails click, click, clicking down the hallway and of course he can't miss Bleu's barking. Whenever he hears them, he is looking for them! And when he finds them, he can't stop staring. Even when I am trying to put him to sleep! Bleu is really good about letting him touch her... mainly because Bleu loves to be close to him and lick him. Roscoe also likes to smell him and will give him test licks, but is a little more stand offish.

First Texas/OU
This last weekend was Cooper's first Texas/OU weekend. I wasn't brave enough to take him to the Fair, which is too bad. It was the first TX/OU Fair weekend that I have missed in probably 10 years. But, first it was rainy, then muggy, then hot. So, we stayed home and jumped in our new Johnny Jumper and watched Texas lose to OU in our gameday clothes. :-( Afterwards we met Daddy, Uncle Britt, Aunt Heather, Cousin Ford, and Grand-Mother Lynda at Sal's Pizzeria for our traditional post-game pizza.

First Pumpkin Patch
We also went this past Sunday with the fam to the Flowermound Pumpkin Patch. It was a bit of a hike for us Dallasites, but worth the trip. The people that put this event on really go out of their way. We took some cute pictures of Coop, but had to retreat quickly to the shade! It was pretty hot for and October day (about 95 degrees) and he wasn't doing so well in his little jeans!
