Cooper had his 3 month pictures taken on August 4. They turned out fantastic! Andie Hamilton does them for us (see link below) and she does a beautiful job.

We are all recuperating from our colds and feeling so much better. We are getting into a groove with daycare, mom's new job, and dad's busy schedule. Just in time for busy football season to kick off.

Another new situation in our lives is that we are going dairy-free! We decided to try this after Cooper's gas attack that put him in the hospital for a day. Several doctors and our lactation consultant suggested that we try it. Some babies dont respond well to proteins found in cows milk and that are passed from mommy to baby. So, as of August 6, mom and dad have been without milk, butter, cream... and chocolate!!! Yes, our sweet dad is supporting mom by going without dairy also.

We actually think that we have seen an improvement in Cooper. He seems happier when he nurses, a little less fussy, and less gassy. However, we are not 100% sure that the turn in events is dues to lack of dairy, getting over a cold, or just general temperment improvements resulting from his 4 additional weeks of life. Either way, we are so glad that he is cheering up!
