Cooper got a new piece of furniture this week. After months of standing on a tall chair to get to the countertop and a few spills off the chair onto the tile floor, we bought Cooper a Learning Tower.

Of course Cooper like to be right in the middle of the kitchen action. And since we spend quite a bit of time in there, he is always on the chair. He has had about 5 ugly falls since we started letting climb up on a chair a few months ago, but we didn't really have any other solution. We wanted to buy it back at Christmas, but it was hard enough coordinating the holidays. So, this is a late Christmas present, but not from us. It is actually from Nana and Popo.

The tower is enclosed on all four sides and has a platform that will lower as he gets taller so we can use it for a while. Cooper can climb up on it easily. Also, we ordered an art easel that that attached to the side for coloring. They sell other stuff for it to make it into a fort or a puppet theater, but didn't see the value in that since I don't see this leaving the kitchen for a long time.

I also included some pictures of Cooper squirting the squirt bottle. I remember Zachary doing this too. (we really use the water bottle for Bleu to try and control barking) Cooper and Danny had lots of fun squirting each other.
