Cooper has an ear infection! :-(

We found out on Friday when Daddy had the idea that this weekend we would run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We decided that Daddy would run it and Cooper and I would walk it. The weather has been so gorgeous here, we were dying to get outside. We went to NorthPark on Friday to sign up and then, as we were leaving, mom called to say that Cooper had a fever of 101.6. Augh! His first fever. I picked him up and went to the doctor where I found out about his little ear infection. Poor baby! Needless to say, we did not do the race... Daddy did and we watched for him on TV.

The weather has cooled down and Cooper is starting to wear cool weather clothes. It has been in the 50s when we leave for MaMaw's house, so he needs a jacket and long sleeves. Unfortunately, it has been in the 80s in the evening which means he usually comes home with no pants on. Such is the weather in Texas!

A change in season is always a good time to shop, though! And ear infection or not, Aunt Stacy and I took Cooper shopping this weekend! We got him some footed sleepers, a jogging suit, and Stacy picked out a little pants set for him. Then we joined Daddy for a wine tasting where Cooper promptly passed out.

Cooper had a play date on Thursday with Lola and Grey Peticolas and Zoe Melton. Melissa invited us over and we had a great time. The twins are the same age as Cooper (he is 30 minutes older, ha ha) and Zoe is a month younger. It is amazing for me to see how different and how similar he is to other babies close to his age. For one thing, his head is really big! And you could tell with the other kiddos. We say thanks to Daddy for that. Grey is also into standing up straight like Cooper... and apparently Lola can get around faster then both boys. It was a great day and we are looking forward to seeing them again soon.

We also went to see Sara Munir. She is so precious and weighs about 8 lbs or so. I couldn't believe how light she was and that Cooper ever weighed that much himself.
