Cooper is 12 weeks and 4 days today and weighs 12 lbs 3 oz! We went to see a Gastroenterologist at Children's Medical Center today to get an opinion on his reflux. The report was excellent! His tummy acid is under control on the prescription Prevacid he has been taking for the last few weeks, but they lowered his dosage by half. We were so concerned about his weight following our 2 month checkup, but the specialist today said he is perfect. He is in the 50th percentile now which is right in line with his birth weight. I am so glad because the thought that he wasnt gaining enough weight has had me teetering on the edge!
Here is a picture with Aunt Donna from Mimi's 90th birthday party. He is so cute in the outfit that Aunt Stacy gave him. Check out the his first pair of flip flops! I was reading what you put on your report about your son and you had mentioned that he HATES tummy time...my son had exremely bad reflux from the time he was born until about 7 months and also hated tummy time with a passion...finally his doctor told me he hated it so much because when babies who have reflux are on their tummies it pushes the acids causing really umcomfortable sharp pains in the tummy. After I found that out I finally quit trying to persue the tummy time and it resulted in late crawling but he eventually came around and it was definitely worth the wait considering the situation with his reflux!
